Off to Venice!

Yesterday was the first day of Spring Break!! Erinn and I slept in while our other four roommates hustled to get out of the house early to catch their planes, trains, and buses out of Florence. Erinn and I don't leave till Tuesday so we have the house to ourselves till then.

We ran errands yesterday. Our first stop was the bank and then school. We needed to print out our boarding passes for Tuesday. Erinn and I will be going to Ireland for a portion of our Spring Break! We are beyond excited as we will be there for Saint Patty's day and are meeting two of our roommates there. We'll be staying with Erinn's grandparents while we are there and I can't wait! After we printed our tickets out we went to lunch. I had an avocado smoothie with my lunch and it was delicious!

Erinn needed to top up her Italian sim card so we stopped at Vodafone before going into the Disney store. The stuff animals were cute but exactly the same as in the US. We spent a total of 4 minutes in there before getting gelato. We tried a new place around the corner from our house and it was delicious. We sat on the wall along the Arno. We got home and cleaned the house as our friends Jamie and Kailee were coming over for dinner. They brought dessert and we provided dinner. I cooked pesto pasta with chicken and veggies. After a lovely meal and great conversation, they went home and we went to bed.

Yesterday at school we were also printing out train tickets for our adventure today! In just a few minutes we are leaving our house to go to Venice for the day. We are both very excited.
