Kicking butt, a suprise, a wonderful dinner and traveling to England!

My excitement for my new comforter
I kicked that debate's butt. I was not nervous this time. I took up all 7 minutes and made each of my points the way I wanted to. I got a 98%! I arrived home in a wonderful mood. A few minutes after I arrived there was a knock on our door. I opened the door to a fantastic surprise. Our landlord sent us comforters! We will no longer be cold! My comforter is so warm. I love it.
Daniel and I cooked a delicious meal last night. We made Patatas Bravas, lemon rosemary Salmon, green beans, and Chocolate Mousse. I taught Daniel how to skin and de-bone a salmon. For his first time, he didn't do to bad. De-boning a fish is hard to learn. Our Chocolate Mousse was yummy but very rich. The best part about the food we made was that it used most of the perishable food in my refrigerator. Anything we didn't use, I sent home with Brett and Daniel to eat or leave for one of their roommates who isn't going away for the break.
After a wonderful meal shared with great friends, it was time for Anavi and I to pack for our trip. I'm disappointed in myself for packing last minute. I stayed up until about 1:45 am getting everything ready. I took an hour nap and then got up to go to the airport.
At 3:15 am Sophia, Anavi, and I trudged downstairs to flag down a taxi to take us to the airport. We would have taken the aerobus but it doesn't start until 4:00 am and that's when we need to be at the airport. Once we arrived at the airport, Sophia headed to her terminal and Anavi and I headed to ours. Since we were leaving the Schengen Area, we had to have our passports checked before going through security. Arriving at the gate at about 5:00 am, I took a nap while waiting for our boarding time. We boarded at 5:45 am and took off at 6:15 am. At 6:18 am, I was asleep.
Before I fell asleep on our flight
Thankfully I slept the whole flight. After passing through customs, we went to pick up our bus passes. With some bad directions, it took us twice as long to get our passes. But it all worked out because the bus we needed to take didn't arrive till after we got our passes. To get to our hotel for tonight, we needed to take two different buses. One from London Stansted to Braintree. Then one from Braintree to Freeport. The first bus ride, though long, went off without a hitch. We were slightly confused which stop to get off on but a few very nice people on the bus helped us out. The second bus ride however we got off at the wrong stop. We then proceeded to walk the wrong way for a few blocks. After asking for directions, we walked back the way we came and finally found our hotel! We arrived a few hours before our check in time but our room was ready.
Soooo good
Neither of us had eaten since before our flight this morning so we dropped off our bags and headed out to get food. We found a restaurant called ChimiChanga. It was very good. I got an enchilada and Anavi got a chimichanga.
Both of us both are very, very tired. We are now relaxing in our hotel room and confirming all the activities we want to do on this wonderful trip.
