My excitement for my new comforter |
Daniel and I cooked a delicious meal last night. We made Patatas Bravas, lemon rosemary Salmon, green beans, and Chocolate Mousse. I taught Daniel how to skin and de-bone a salmon. For his first time, he didn't do to bad. De-boning a fish is hard to learn. Our Chocolate Mousse was yummy but very rich. The best part about the food we made was that it used most of the perishable food in my refrigerator. Anything we didn't use, I sent home with Brett and Daniel to eat or leave for one of their roommates who isn't going away for the break.
After a wonderful meal shared with great friends, it was time for Anavi and I to pack for our trip. I'm disappointed in myself for packing last minute. I stayed up until about 1:45 am getting everything ready. I took an hour nap and then got up to go to the airport.
At 3:15 am Sophia, Anavi, and I trudged downstairs to flag down a taxi to take us to the airport. We would have taken the aerobus but it doesn't start until 4:00 am and that's when we need to be at the airport. Once we arrived at the airport, Sophia headed to her terminal and Anavi and I headed to ours. Since we were leaving the Schengen Area, we had to have our passports checked before going through security. Arriving at the gate at about 5:00 am, I took a nap while waiting for our boarding time. We boarded at 5:45 am and took off at 6:15 am. At 6:18 am, I was asleep.

Soooo good |
Both of us both are very, very tired. We are now relaxing in our hotel room and confirming all the activities we want to do on this wonderful trip.
