Hostels from Heaven

It has now become real that in less than 20 hours I will be on a plane, leaving the country I have fallen in love with and has been my home for the past 3 and a half months. But I have one day left in the city I love so I'll save the sappy post for tomorrow morning.
These past 9 days of traveling in Spain, I have stayed in the most amazing hostels. Each hostel was wonderful. In Madrid, we stayed at Living Cat's Hostel. The receptionist was kind and explained all we needed to know about hostel. Our 12 bed dorm room was spacious and the bed was comfortable and very clean. The keys to our rooms were a bracelet that we were each given upon checking in. This key worked for the large lockers near our bed, without an extra charge. My favorite part about this hostel was the water pressure. Oh my gosh, it was amazing. It was even better than the water pressure in my apartment in Barcelona! Also there were 15 showers in the girls bathroom on our floor.
The only downside to this hostel is that there are no volume rules for the comman area which is in the middle of the ground floor. So it is a little loud late into the night but there is nothing else wrong with this hostel. I give this hostel an 8 out of 10.
In Sevilla we stayed at TOC Hostel Sevilla. This hostel has been the best hostel I've ever stayed in. From the outside this hostel looks like a hotel and the inside was no different other than the rooms being dorms. The room itself was clean and again spacious for an 8 bed dorm. Inside the dorm room there were 2 showers, 2 toilets, and 2 sinks. The room and bathroom were cleaned everyday thoroughly. The bed here had the warmest comforter. I wanted to take it home with me.
The best part of this hostel was the key. My key was my fingerprint. It was so cool! Every time I would be getting ready to leave the room I would think "where's my key?" Then I would remember that my right pointer finger was my key and I always have that with me. I was always overly happy to open the door to my room because I felt like I was entering a high security clearance FBI room or something. I give this hostel a 10 out of 10.
In Córdoba we stayed at Bed and Be Hostel. This hostel was amazing. We booked 2 beds in a 4 bed dorm. When we arrived we were told we'd been upgraded to a double room. This room was so great. The first bed was on the ground level and then the second bed was in the loft. There were 2 clean, brand new bathrooms directly across from our room. The staff at this hostel were absolutely amazing. They were so kind and gave us so much information about Córdoba. I give this hostel a 10 out of 10.

All three of these hostels were in a great location in each town and I would highly recommend staying at these hostels if you are ever in any of these wonderful places.
We've arrived to our hostel in Barcelona. We are staying at Itaca Hostel. It seems nice and clean so far. A very nice young man carried my luggage upstairs for me. I appreciated that very much.
I have finished repacking my luggage. It all fits surprisingly! Anavi and I are going to see Barcelona for the last time this year. I know I will come back to this wonderful place.
